Chapter 7

I woke from my nap and felt a moment of disorientation as I realized it was eight in the morning and not eight in the evening. My step-mom and step-sister slept next to me and I still felt the Power deep inside my sister, like a faint echo of my own. The lack of it in my mother, was like an empty space on my other side. It grated on my nerves profoundly for some reason.

So, I rolled onto my side and took in her sleeping form. Her graceful curves and peaceful face got my blood boiling almost instantly, but I put that out of my mind and focused on my own Power, trying to remember what I had done when gifting Ashlyn.

Reaching inside I attempted to replicate what I had done the night before. Taking ahold of my own Power I split off a sliver of my soul, drawing the golden piece forth. It came free easily enough but when I moved it towards my mom, I felt resistance. It was like trying to punch underwater. No matter how hard I pushed or how gently I tried to cajole it the sliver just wouldn’t take root in my mom as it had with Ashlyn. I laid there for several minutes trying to do exactly as I had before but to no avail.

I was just beginning to get frustrated when Ashlyn began to stir at my side. As I watched her big beautiful blue eyes slowly opened, blinking away grogginess and sleep. She smiled when she noticed me watching her and rolled onto her back stretching like a cat and yawning. The sight of her large firm breasts so beautifully displayed drove the frustrations from my mind and I pulled her close.

Ashlyn moaned into my mouth as we kissed deeply. After a few moments she pulled her head back, sliding a hand down my side and across my hip before taking my hardness into her fist.

“Mmmm, this is the perfect way to wake up little brother.”

I could only moan out as she gripped me tight and rolled me on top of her. Then before I knew it, I was inside, moving slowly and gently as we made love in the pale morning light.

For a time, I forgot about the Enemy and his minions. I forgot about all my troubles and “best laid plans” in the immediacy of feeling Ashlyn beneath me. Her warm tightness drew all the stress from my mind and body and soon I felt refreshed. It was a surprise to I realized she was using the Power on me and was using it far more subtle than I would have thought her capable of. Whether it was her influence or my own trust in her, and I guess it doesn’t matter which, I could only feel grateful to her for it.

I leaned back, lifting myself up on my hands and looked down on my sister and knew she could see all the love in my eyes. She reached up and caressed the side of my face a gentle hand.
